We are well versed in the FERC pre-filing process, and have experience identifying tribes and stakeholders to initiate communications with them and with SHPOs about a project. Using our survey results, we develop reporting documents in accordance with FERC’s Resource Report 4 requirements and provide information for NEPA environmental documents.
Our cultural resource teams at AECOM have extensive experience providing support for projects subject to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulations, such as intrastate oil and gas pipelines and liquefied natural gas facilities. AECOM staff is well positioned to assist clients in meeting all of the FERC requirements and expectations in the form of Section 106 compliance or assisting in the production of an environmental assessment (EA) or environmental impact statement (EIS) as part of the NEPA process.
Our entire field staff is trained and certified in procedures for the safe conduct of their duties.
